Have any of you guys seen this video? Go to YouTube and search for "Missing in the Mansion". Better yet, watch it in full screen mode on a big TV with the lights out on or around Halloween. It's pretty freaking cool for a little, independent project.
Warning! Might be a little scary for younger eyes. (Definitely scarier than Alien Encounter IMHO.)
Just watched this. I'm not generally a fan of "found footage" movies like Cloverfield, but this had some nice touches to it. (The people disappearing from all of the other Doombuggies was a cool idea.)
The Haunted Mansion has always felt more funny than scary, so the movie just didn't feel all that spooky. Maybe it needed a little more time to build up an ominous atmosphere rather than jumping from happy Disney trip to horror in the Mansion. (For example, a spooky detour through the caves on Tom Sawyer's Island might have helped to build some tension.) Or maybe I'm just jaded.
The other day, I found this article about movies shot inside Disneyland. I want to see the one wth Banksy.
