Are any UABers playing Disney Infinity yet? We got ours two weeks ago and we're playing it almost every night! Very addictive and really a lot of fun (and the collectibles side of it is really cool!) Smile

It's a game played on multiple platforms that uses collectible figurines that are then synchronized with the game, allowing for characters from Disney and Pixar properties to interact and go on adventures. We payed $70 for the game which came with three collectible figures (Mr. Incredible, Jack Saprrow, and Sully). When you place the figure on the Infinfity game pad you go on adventures specifically designed for that character. Place two figures and you can have two different players. we also purchased Eliastigirl and Captain Barbosa (my favorite). We just prordered Jack Skellington and Woody. It is so much fun! Smile

Can't say that I have played it, but my husband and daughter LOVE it! While they play the game, I get time to myself. That never happened before this game - this is the best game ever! Laughing

My daughter and I play all the time (when she's not on Minecraft).
I was so saddened to hear that Disney is discontinuing the product after a couple of months. I guess they're going to release a few more characters and then they're going to shut the line down.

I'm sure we'll be able to keep playing, but no more updates and no new characters.
It's just too bad!

One of our granddaughters had the 1.0 and is receiving the 3.0 for her birthday in June with the Star Wars addition - she loves it - creates worlds and games for us to play - I don't really understand all the ins and outs but it is fun to spend time with her and talk about Disney - great fun ... hope they are not discontinuing it altogether that would be sad ...
