Oh I'm so glad this is a New story and not just trying to recreate the old movie beat by beat like beauty and the beast. I'm a big Mary Poppins fan and I can't wait tio see this!

We loved it. Of course, there was a "familiarity" about it's story structure - a lot of similar beats were hit, but I honestly didn't mind. The music was fantastic and I thought Emily Blunt was a good choice for this role.
If there is a third one (as is rumored), I hope they venture a little away from the formula. I think there's enough personality in the character that if she were to have an adventure away from Cherry Tree Lane, it would probably be just as successful.
