Are cell phone handles/grips allowed in parks?

I know that selfie sticks are understandably taboo in the parks, but what about the short handles/grips? We are considering picking up one that basically looks like a bicycle grip that attaches to a phone. It doesn't extend out or anything, just something that makes it a little easier to hold it steady during parades, etc. Does anyone know if these are okay for use in the parks?

I think I saw that, yes, handles/grips are allowed. Stuff that cannot be extended or are too long. I would guess "too long" is anything beyond a few inches.
