Fast pass: Muppets - always room for more Muppets!
Standby: Mary Poppins singing in UK/Epcot - this is a great idea!
Skip: Hook and Pan dueling - still an excellent idea, I just like the others more!
Not sure about the logistics of getting them to and from the attractions without mobs of people swarming them, but if it were doable, which attractions would it be fun to see characters riding upon?
Tomorrowland Speedway (with a handler driving, if they aren't "face" characters)
People Mover
A carful on the Railroad |

Fastpass: People Mover (just cause I love that ride!)
Standby: Tomorrowland Speedway (wish they'd switch to electric or whatever the buses run on)
Skip: Carful on the Railroad (fewer chances to see them if you're not on the train)
Which magic Kingdom dining experience will you miss most on your next trip?
Quick service lunch at Be Our Guest
Casey's Corner
Columbia Harbour House |

Fast pass: Columbia Harbour House - this one hurts. This had become a go to place for a mid afternoon break. The cobbler with creme is a personal favorite, and sitting upstairs by the windows people watching Liberty Square is great!
Stand by: Be Our Guest
Skip: Casey's Corner
Most powerful villains:
Jafar
Maleficent

Fastpass: Maleficent
Standby: Hades (although a little preoccupied with himself)
Skip: Jafar
Getting some Disney themed masks:
Heros
Villains
Abstracts of parks, rides, resorts, ice cream bars, etc. |

Fast pass: Abstracts of rides (Spaceship Earth would be a decent one)
Standby: Villains
Skip: Heroes
Animal Kingdom attractions that could provide the subject matter for a great movie:
Kali River Rapids
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Expedition Everest |

If you could reinstate 1 Disney pre Covid thing:
Extra Magic Hours
Dining Plan
Fireworks
Did you see? The gift shop at Splash Mountain has closed & the windows are covered up with plastic or something. |

Can I fast pass all three?!?
Guess if I have to choose...
Fast pass: Fireworks
Standby: Dining Plan
Skip: Extra Magic Hours (really hoping crowd levels make all day feel like EMH)
We heard that WDW will be airing the "Happily Ever After" fireworks show every night on resort TV. Which other nighttime shows would you like them to air as well?
Rivers of Light
Fantasmic
Epcot Forever
Surprised to hear that about the Splash souvenir shop. Thought Disney would have been slapping the Splash Mountain logo on everything they could to sell and recoup some of their losses.
I've turned the corner to cautious optimism that we will get to go. It's just a bummer to not get to talk about going, though. Just don't want the judgments and admonitions from friends and relatives about what we choose to do with our vacation time. |

Standby: EPCOT Forever
Skip: Fantasmic
Amenity that you really enjoy/take advantage of (when offered):
Magical Express
Package Delivery
Refillable Mugs
We're into single digits for our countdown. But, yeah, we don't really talk about it to other people either.
Magical Express is not doing luggage pickup. You have to get your own bags from baggage claim & bring them with you to the bus (Terminal B). We of course arrive in Terminal A (JetBlue).

You hit my order preference!
Fast pass:. Magical Express (the luggage service is usually out for us anyway, as our flight in is normally around midnight. Would have been able to use it this year though, ironically)
Standby: Package delivery
Skip: Refillable mugs (usually not at the resort when the food courts are open to use these. This year will be an exception to that, again, ironically)
We (on a normal trip) use the heck out of the package delivery service. We are big on souvenirs. Which service do you use most?
Delivery to front of park
Delivery to resort
Home delivery
Excited you're in the single digits! 28 daysfor us, til we fly out. My wife is active on the Dis Boards, and there are a handful of people on there she chats with regularly that are going to be on property the same time as us. Hoping we get the chance to meet some of them, face to face (kind of. Mask to mask?). If I don't get the chance to say it before you're off, I hope you have a terrific time!
That car at Wilderness Lodge - whoa. Glad nobody was hurt. |

Fastpass: delivery to resort
Standby: front of park
Skip: home delivery (unless I have something not plane and/or TSA friendly. Then, this is Fastpass!)
Real Magic Kingdom animals:
The ducks
The bunnies
The very occasional horse
Thanks! Will be a different experience but hopefully still fun. |

Fastpass: San Angel Inn
Standby: Sci Fi
Skip: Be Our Guest (skipping this time around b/c lunch is not quick service right now its a "signature dining" experience at $62 pp (I believe that's the price)
If you were to leave the bubble:
Universal
Sea World
Kennedy Space Center
Hope you guys are going before Sept 8th! Park hours are being shortened on that date. |

Fast pass: Sea World (been to the one in San Diego and thought it was amazing)
Standby: Kennedy Space Center
Skip: Universal (too centric on the big thrill rides. Just not my cup of tea anymore)
Fairy tales Disney hasn't made animated features out of yet that you'd like to see:
Rumpelstiltskin
Pied Piper
Hansel and Gretel
Unfortunately, our park days are the 6th thru the 15th. The shortened hours were just one more punch to the gut. Doesn't bode well for some of the still closed restaurants in the parks to open any time soon either. |

Fastpass: Hansel & Gretel
Standby: Rumpelstiltskin
Skip: Pied Piper (Rats. Why did it have to be rats....)
Do the running commentary on Jungle Cruise, Kilimanjaro Safari, or The Great Movie Ride?
Next bit of news...
Rise of the Resistance was closed today (or most of Tuesday) because it got hit by lightning Mon night & caused a power generator to blow up. |

Fast pass: Great Movie Ride (and yes, it is largely due to it being an indoor, climate controlled attraction!)
Standby: Jungle Cruise
Skip: Kilimanjaro Safaris (hard to classify this as a "skip". Would be an amazing job to go to every day.)
We've been binge watching the "Once Upon a Time" series since the weekend. Hope you are at least somewhat familiar with it for this round! Which character do you think was best cast?
The Evil Queen/Regina Mills - Lana Parrilla
Snow White/Mary Margaret - Ginnifer Goodwin
Rumpelstiltskin/Mr Gold - Robert Carlyle
Saw the footage of that lightning strike. The story also said MuppetVision was offline too. Hope they can get it all up and running before you get there! |
