Hello all,
I am the proud owner of a new yellow labrador retriever puppy and I was trying to think of some good Disney-related dog names. Anyone have any suggestions? It can be a ride, character, or anything else (Currently we're thinking "Sawyer", after the Lost character just because we like the name).
Lucky, Rolly, Cadpig, Two-Tone, Duke, Tripod, Patch, Wizzer, Dipstick, Duke; others that have been named in the series: Penny, Freckles, Pepper, Fidget, Jewel, Hoover, Hammy, Sa-Sa, Pickle, Pooh, Playdoh, Furrball, Harvey; and still others who have been named in merchandise: Smokey, Dipper, Salter, Scooter, Flapper, Sniff, Puddles, Swifty, Inky, Yank, Bump, Nosey, Spark, Spatter, Tiger, Wags, Ham, Tiresome, Hungry, Speedy, Spanky, Hoofer, Pokey, Corky, Bulgey, Bravo, Yoyo, Blob, Sleepy, Sport and Dot.
(101 Dalmations)
Rolly is always a favorite..1 reason being that Rolly Crump (Imagineer) was in charge of animating the spots on all of the dalmations. It's one of the few notable things he's done for animation that can be readily seen.
And hey, that is a Disney name... Lost is a Disney show AND there is Tom Sawyer's Island to consider as well.
Then, if you get another puppy, you can name him Finn! Both Huck Finn and the main character in the Disney book I just read. (can't remember the name of the book and I'm at work right now)
Well Lilu named her dog Stitch.
So if one of the dogs is blue whith six legs and likes to
destroy stuff then Stitch is a great name.
You know, I'm fairly certain that my rabbit is Stitch reincarnate. In fact, he even looks like him (without 6 arms, and he's brown, not blue)
I'm going to have to post his picture sometime. He's such a handful! But so darn loveable. In fact, we often say to him we can see his badness level rising.
Ok...Now I like Stitch for a dog's name. Go with Stitch!

i like stitch too.
cici, my kitty francine is very stitchlike, as well. she was VERY destructive as a kitten, and her facial expressions, headshape, and ears are incredibly reminiscent of stitch!

Thanks again all for the names. We went over all of them and with the Tom Sawyer reference and the ABC/Disney show, we ended up keeping it Sawyer. Here's a pic of the little guy:
