OK. This is totally last minute, but we had a trip planned to Vegas for March 11th - March 15th. When I saw a map and saw how close Vegas was to Anaheim, we're now going to fly into LA on March 9th, do two days at Disneyland, drive to LV and spend the rest of the week there.
I haven't been to DL since 99, when Cali Adventure first opened. I already read the Kray thread on what to do, but is anything really different since then, other than the new Tower of Terror? I'm excited about the Jungle Cruise and Pirates (both are much better at DL), Indy (my favorite), Space Mountain, Matterhorn, California Screamin', Soarin', and eating at the Blue Bayou.
Any tips/pointers are appreciated. Oh, and what type of crowds should we expect? I wouldn't think much, as this is a colder time of year, but the DL hotel was fully booked.

You're getting into the beginning of spring break season...but the crowds should be smaller. I say this knowing I received a phone call on Saturday from a friend standing at CA Screamin' asking my WHY on the last Saturday of February was there an our and a hhalf standby wait......one can never truly predict.
I think March is a great month. Were you able to book at Paradise Pier? I do have some information on many of the Good Neighbor Hotels.
I'd make sure to use te fastpass system for your favorites (like Indy). I like to get anoter fastpass as soon as poossible.....and then never seem to have trouble filling in the gaps with all the other great attractions and entertainment.
I'd soak it up! If you enjoy Parades....I'd try to catch thhis one...and definitely thhe Fireworks display---it's a DON'T MISS experience. Try to stand where you can see the castle and Matterhorn whilst remaining on Main Street!
I also really (really) enjoy California Adventure...and typically can do everything (everythhing I'm not too tall for) in a day and a half....but this includes EVERYTHHING...like spending time in the Animation Studios and popping in for Turtle Talk, Aladdin and thhe Animation Acadamy.
I hope you have a GREAT trip!!!
: )
Did I mention I just booked a DLR package for te last week of November???????????????????????????????????????

Hour and a half.... grrr... That sucks. When I went in 2000, I was able to ride Indy like 5 times in a day w/out any fastpasses. Sigh. I hope it's not too crowded.
Thanks for the great info. I know it's open until Midnight on Saturday, so I plan to use every possible moment.

kmiller15211--Hopefully it will be a great weekend to be there...typically the days I've spent in the parks in March have been laid back and quite enjoyable with nice weather.
I love June too! The mornings and evenings are cooler but the days are usually BEAUTIFUL!!! though busier, it is one of my favorite months to go! Where will you be staying Dixielandings??
I can't believe David or I didn't mention this earlier. On Friday morning we're heading to DL. We so can't wait. It seems like forever since we've been there. _________________ *~deb~*
And it's not just Disneyland, we'll be doing some local things, as well as a trip to the desert to go to the Morongo Casino. We can hardly wait! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.
