Figment’s True Life Adventure's
General Rules & Guidelines
General Legal Information
1) The Figment plush and additional accessories are the property of Utilidors Audio Broadcasting.
2) All items included in the mailing package are to be used carefully and with respect to their owners and fellow participants.
3) These items, particularly the Figment plush, are to remain clean and in the same condition as when it is received.
4) Please avoid spills, dirtying, and/or smoking around the Figment plush.
5) The package must be in compliance of the rules and regulations of the shipping company used.
6) All Figment hosts will be awarded 25 flyer miles.
Privacy Policy and Personal Information
1) UAB’s General Privacy and Personal Information policies have been extended to cover all aspects of “Figment’s True Life Adventures”. These policies can be viewed, in-depth, HERE.
3) Personal Information: “Utilidors Audio Broadcasting recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of information collected on this Site. UAB will not provide your name to other companies or organizations without your consent.”
4) There are additional personal information points regarding this event:
a. For the purpose of this event, the mailing address you provide will be kept private and will not be given/sold to outside organizations.
b. To help ensure privacy, mailing addresses will be requested by a member of the UAB staff at the time you enroll in the "Figment's True Life Adventures" event.
c. Your address will remain private, until it is your turn to host in the rotation. At that time, the current host will be informed of your name and mailing address. This is the only time anyone outside of the UAB staff will have access to this information.
e. Additional security and privacy policies are spelled out in the “Event Guidelines” section of this document.
General Guidelines & Information
1) Time Frame
a. There is not a specific timeline for keeping the package and shipping; however we would prefer that they are not kept longer than two weeks.
b. We are requesting two weeks, so we can keep Figment moving from stop to stop in a timely manner.
c. If there is a specific reason to keep Figment longer than two weeks, please notify us immediately.
2) Shipping Information
a. You may use any shipping company that you wish, however there are a few guidelines that we request be followed:
b. Package is to be wrapped in white or brown shipping paper.
c. Please use either USPS, UPS, or FedEx as the shipping company.
d. We request using USPS Priority Shipping with Insurance (or similar service with another shipper), with an insurance amount of $50.
e. You do not necessarily have to ship the package to the next location. If you personally know the next recipient and are willing to meet in person, this is acceptable.
3) Names and Addresses
a. Mailing addresses will be requested by a member of the UAB staff at the time you enroll in the "Figment's True Life Adventures" event.
b. No other UAB member or person will be requesting your address.
c. Your name and address will then be given to the person who is current in possession of the package.
4) Photos & Videos
a. The purpose of this event is for UABers to have fun and to show aspects of their life and home towns that are normally not seen
b. Take as many pictures or videos as you like.
c. Photos and videos can include anyone, be taken anywhere, and doing almost anything (please remember that this is a family website and event).
d. Email photos and videos to uabstaff@uabmagic.com to be added to the site.
e. Once the photos have been uploaded to the UAB Site, you will be emailed with links to the photos. Then you will be able to create a new thread in the forum, showing your photos and any comments you wish to post.
