Has anyone else seen this play? My daughter and I went to Providence over the weekend to see this and I must say that it was a freaking riot! I'd like to go and see it again!
Anyone? _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

We saw Spamalot last spring - we laughed ourselves silly!
The soundtrack - performed by the Broadway cast - is awesome! |

Yeah, we bought the sound track, as well as a magnet, an "I'm not dead yet..." shirt, an "I'm not dead yet" button, and a killer rabbit puppet. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

I also saw this last weekend in Providence and it was great!
I was always a big fan of the movie and loved how they kept the best parts
of the movie and made a great on stage production.
It was very funny. |

Hearing how much fun David had I'm sorry I didn't go. I had given my ticket to Elizabeth because I know she likes it as much as her father. _________________ *~deb~*

I got burned out on this in college listening to the record over and over again. I just don't find this brand of humor funny or tolerable anymore. And I am definitely not a fan of Britcoms. _________________ [ |

You know, I can always change John's title to something like "troublemaker"! _________________ *~deb~*

We wound up seeing it twice on Broadway, and the first time was when Tim Curry still played King Arthur. Absolutely hilarious show, and Tim Curry was just amazing. What's funny is I'm not a big Monty Python fan at all. |

-putting on theatre snob hat-
While very amusing and very well staged as performed by the original B'way cast when I saw it, (Curry, Hyde Peirce, et all...) I found as a real piece of THEATRE (notice the "re") it was a little limiting and overkill. A great event - yes. Real B'way - I don't think so...
-taking off theatre snob hat-
Freaking AWESOME! FISH SLAPPING DANCE! FLYING COWS! If you love the movie or anything Python you MUST go see this!
I'm a huge fan of the movie and of Python in general and I laughed my behind off at the show. But, I did work on Broadway for a few years and became a wondefully jaded NYC theater guy. This should be on tour in arenas like a rock concert, not in theaters.
That being said - Fetche la vache!

My cousin Justin has been in the NYC cast for many months now. I would love to see it! |
