We are headed to WDW in August - any thoughts as to whether Toontown will be open at all? We are travelling with a little one and would love to get her on Goofy's Barnstormer!
Have a good time, (he says sarcastically). I don't know how many times in a row I rode that with my grandson. I finally had to bribe him to stop by taking him over to buy a treat. Those little planes were not designed for someone as tall as I am.
Be homest Frank, the Barnstormer is just too fast for you.
It makes me throw up.
How many boxes will fit in a window I wonder?
Important tip!! Don't sit behind Frank on the Barnstormer.
Or directly in front of him...or beneath him. I guess its just best to AVOID him at all costs.
That's a pretty bunch of boxes....
Careful....we might open a doorway to another dimension, if we do any more quotes!!!

Very pretty boxes, but no one answered my question
From what I read, they will keep Toontown open as long as possible, and they are considering different overlays for Barnstormer. I think you'll find Toontown open most of 2010 (I think). This is from the Mouse's squeaky mouth (a Disney blog). _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

I've been reading on multiple sites that right now it looks like the only things confirmed so far are Little Mermaid the B&B Restaurant, everything else is up in the air. These discussions also involve rumors about a Frontierland expansion at WDW.
While I can see them dropping the Pixie Hollow stuff, it just doesn't seem like that franchise took off well enough. I would love to see them do a Wonderland section, instead of Pixie Hollow. And if they are going to expand Frontierland to balance the improvements between boys and girls, why not Adventureland instead? Update Jungle Cruise, add the Indiana Jones ride from DL, pirates themed restaurant, etc...? Heck, why not do a little in both lands (they both could use it).
And the other big thing I question, if Disney is worried about Harry Potter hurting WDW, why are they going to use Cars Land at DCA as their response. I'm starting to think that Disney is going to take a wait/see attitude with Harry Potter and see if it actually does anything to them over the next year or so. Universal's attendance is going to go up (actually, it already has seen an increase), but the question is whether people are skipping Disney parks to got to USO or are they just adding an extra day to their vacation. _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best!
I see Harry Potter Land hurting WDW, for the short term. Lets face it, WWOHP is a day trip, maybe two if you decide to get blitzed at Hogsmead. WDW is a week long destination. On my next trip to WDW, I'll be taking a day in WWOHP, no question.
I think what Disney should be doing is seeing why Harry is getting such attention and pursue that for upgrades/expansions. They really need to even things out between boys, girls, and adults (SO BRING BACK THE ADVENTURERS CLUB!!) _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.
