Construction has already started at DCA to remove the existing entrance plaza and build the new one, but I thought it be fun to look back at the plaza and see what might have been originally. This article from Jim Hill looks back at the history of the park and the entrance plaza, even as far back as Westcot!

Glad I at least got to see the current entrance and look forward to having a new vista to the park when I finally return.

We always loved the "Postcard" look of the DCA entrance. It was a tradition for us (and many friends who hang out in DL) to get our picture at the last "A" in California. We'd either sit in or poke our heads through "The A Hole". Yes, that's what everyone refers to it as. Thus the fun and charm of the tradition.

Laughing That's great! Wish we'd thought of that...

I just went Saturday and saw Sunshine Plaza is gone! My heart was filled with joy! Bouncing Mickey
I am so excited to have the Carthay Circle Theater as part of DCA!

Is it true there's going to be a new Partner's Statue with a younger Walt Disney?
