I just picked up a new Motorola Droid. It's a GREAT mobile for getting your UAB fix, easy to listen to UAB using any one of a number of items. I chose A Online Radio (AOR). I'm gathering it would be this simple for any ANDROID enabled mobile device.
Love it, Love it.
Just out of curiosity. How many of you have your own system for listening to UAB on a mobile device?
I know we've talked about iphone apps in the past. I might think about revisiting this. |

I use my Blackberry 8330 curve with MFR radio to get UAB but hte connection is strange:
I listen to it but the song that is playing will play for 20 sec and then go back20 seconds then pick up where it left off and go back 20 seconds ..... This happens all day long on every song.
Any idea what may be happening or a recommended different application to play it on my blackberry?

I have an iPhone and I use Safari to access the site. From there I click 'Tune In Now' and use Quicktime to listen. I use Quicktime over iTunes because it opens up in a separate window so I can quickly go back to the Now Playing page if I want to get the name of a track.
The 3G network is great so I can use an FM transmitter when I'm driving
An app would be awesome though, since my methods of listening tie up any other use of Safari. mdegrand would agree as well, I'm sure |

I have an HTC Imagio (Verizon). It's Windows Mobile based so any radio app will work. I have Resco Radio and it works great. AND I can plus it into my Aux jack on my car radio and have UAB with me where ever I go. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

I have a Windows Mobile based HTC Tilt, I currently use Mort Player to pull the stream. I just installed a new stereo in my truck, which will act as a wireless headset for the phone through bluetooth... What exactly does that mean? It means I can now listen to UAB through my truck stereo! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

I have an iPhone, and I have simply added the bookmark for the Quicktime player stream of UAB to my desktop so that it acts as an app now. All I have to do is click on the icon and then press play. It's plenty easy.
Now, I'm not saying that a dedicated app actually created by UAB where a person could both listen to and request music wouldn't be nice, though. |

We would love a dedicated iPhone/iPod app but we haven't found someone who can create this for us and do it to our needed specifications to take into consideration security and the such for us.
But there is also ShoutCast for i products. Just look for Utilidors Audio Broadcasting. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

I just got the Galaxy Nexus Google Android phone and have been listening with TuneWiki(it works great!) Is there an app for the forums that works well? Something like Tapatalk perhaps? _________________ Is it time to go to WDW yet? |

We just got an iPad for the holidays, so we've been listening through Safari and the QuickTime player. We've found it great to listen to UAB again since our laptop went kaput.
Any other suggestions as to how to listen? _________________ Toadi Acceleratio Semper Absurda |
