Emergency Shutdown of the Broadcast due to errors...

Due to the issues we've been experiencing with tracks and the request queue, we're performing an emergency maintenance as of now (6:45PM EDT, 3:45PM PDT) on 4/1/13.

No, this is not a joke, and we're working to make sure we're ok and not having a more serious issue.

***UPDATE***
We're experiencing a failing hard drive on the broadcast server. We do not have an ETA at this time as to when the broadcast will return. We're making every effort to resolve the issue and restore the broadcast as quickly as possible.

yeeowzas! Guess it's a good thing we've had good support lately to help out in just such a crisis! Bummer it had to happen at the beginning of the work week, I know that makes it difficult to get everything sorted with parts and repairs and real work--ergh!

Here's to hoping the broadcast will be up and running again real soon!!

What a nice place to get frozen in time - looking at Splash Mountain - I hate getting soaked but love the ride as a whole - which always surprises ocm - Hope to get a good soaking some time this summer Smile

Well, it's not looking good. theEpiphany has been trying for days to recover the failing hard drive without success. We're now examining other ideas to try and get the contents of the drive copied off.

Still not eta on the recovery. We're doing the best we can and may have to send the drive out for service.

We'll let you know if anything new develops.

I know that professional recovery can be very expensive, so if you guys need to have mini-fundraiser to offset that cost, don't be shy about letting us know. I'm sure if you posted an announcement for such, we would all be happy to chip in what we could above and beyond our normal contributions.

I know I haven't been around all that much in a while, but I still love this site, and I'd hate to see anything happen to it. I'm willing to do my part to keep whatever data is corrupted from disappearing forever.

Just let us know what, if anything, you need from us.

I am with pug - if you guys need some extra over and above what has come in lately - PLEASE PLEASE let us know - I reallllllllllly miss UAB as does everyoe - am thankful we can still communicate and play games for flyer miles to use when we are up and running again Smile
