|
|
I love all of the music that plays, but I'm also crazy for the vocal characterizations during the broadcast. Professor Hotsenheimer (spelling it phonetically, so it might be "Hop," I'm not sure), so self-conscious over the air, "Well, actually, they're not my favorites, they're your favorites." Brilliance in writing and voice. I laughed every time I heard it over the past few weeks.
And the other guy whose name I forget (and I still consider myself pretty new, so I apologize for not knowing his name yet), whom I refer to as "The Scottish Drinker," the one thanking people who made February donations. I admire him greatly because of his example of no UAB being like no Guinness at the bar, "But then, the bartender moves the keg over a smidgen..." Perfect also.
I salute not just the characters, but also those who wrote and performed them.
Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a poker game with the boys downstairs. That's right, Professor, I know where they are. |

The " Scotish" guy is really Canadian ya I know go figure maybe he moved there from Scotland or somthing but if you show up to the Rose and Crown you might catch a glimpse of him. He is also on the Frapper map for the site if you are curious to see his UGLY mug. _________________ Jason

Oh I wish I could if not for the distance. He sounds exactly like the kind of guy to share a few pints with. |

If there's one true thing you can say about UAB....we certainly do have a bunch of "characters" here! |
