As many of you probably know, the second installment of the National Treasure series (I call it a series, because I don't think Disney would stop with just two) came out a few weeks ago and has been #1 at the box office since it came out...
We went and saw the movie last week and I thought it was pretty good... Just a hair below the first National Treasure... But still several hairs below the first PotC movie...
My biggest complaint is that the movie moves way fast and covers a TON of ground... The movie also starts in one direction and ends in another direction...
Don't worry, that's all I'm going to say right now... I will wait a few more weeks before I go into details...
But, there was an awesome part of the movie I must talk about... there was actually a new Disney short in front of the movie!! There was a new Goofy cartoon in front of the movie, "How to setup a Home Theater"... I don't know if everyone else knew that there was going to be a short, because I didn't. I thought it was hilarious!
So, if your not doing anything one afternoon and a few hours to kill, I would recommend you go see this...! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

We saw the movie opening weekend and loved it!
The cartoon short at the beginning was awesome! It was a complete surprise to us that it existed. _________________ *~deb~*

A certain person who co-owns a certain broadcast site that people here know and love also worked on the short.
It was done VERY well and I enjoyed it. I also loved the movie. since the characters were already established, there wasn't much need to work on that, and I think the story went really well. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Sound good.
I'll have to make time to see this before I leave for WDW next week. |

I thought the movie was good - nearly as good as the original, which is rare for sequels. And the short was great! I had no idea we got one, and everyone in the theatre was laughing. I think it hit pretty close to home for a few of us. |

Finally saw this last weekend.
Very good movie. Almost as good as the first.
And like any good franchise they left an opt. for another movie. |

Hey guys. What floors me about NT:BOS is the fact that the director John Turtletaub, who also helmed the first, says on the DVD for NT that he actually wasn't planning on making a sequel. Famous last words. If you watch the deleted scenes on the DVD the last sequence described could have been the set-up for BOS, kinda makes ya wonder why they didn't. Anyway, having just seen BOS I too think it's very good but also agree thar for being 139 min. long it does move quite fast. Oh well, maybe I'm the one who's slowing down. Until later, peace. |
