Ok, so I did not know about this. I just read about a local theater group of middle school kids who performed Mulan Jr. Disney has licensed Mulan, Alice, and Aladdin to be performed by Broadway Junior groups (middle school aged kids).
This is something I have never heard about but think it is pretty cool. I only learned of it becauase one of the middle schools in my hometown is doing Mulan; http://www.valdostadailytimes.com/local/local_story_115012946.html . They have even been contacted by Disney and will receive a certificate for their participation in the program.
I found another site that sells the licenses and kits (various types of scripts, music, etc...). This is actually a pretty cool program.... Now, if you could only convince schools systems to keep arts programs in the cirriculum. But that is for another time and soap box....
So what do you guys think about this? Has anyone seen one of these productions? _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best!
