Rudolph The Red-Nosed Raindeer
It's A Wonderful Life (my favorite)
Santa Clause is Coming to Town
Actually, just about ANY holiday show/movie. Some of the older stuff from my childhood is great, but there are a few from more receint years that are enjoyable. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Oh, I love the Christmas Story too! In fact, I think it was in the Sears circular that I saw they have a town kind of like the Dept 56 stuff from the Christmas Story! There are also little figurines of the family unpacking the leg lamp. How cool!
I watched "Meet me in St. Louis" the other day to celebrate the season. I love this movie. It features fantastic Halloween and Christmas scenes. Hmm... Perhaps it was a precursor for the Nightmare Before Christmas? Little Tootie sure is evil enough. She may have been the model for Jack. |

Donna went out and bought "Home for the Holidays". It was okay. Too darn dysfunctional for me, but I guess that is the point of the story.
Her other favorite is Charlie Brown. We watched that Sunday night. Then we watched "Christmas Vacation".
On the list to watch later are "White Christmas", Grinch (the Jim Carey version), "It's a Wonderful Life" and "A Chritmas Carol" (the George C. Scott version.)
We still need to add to the collection. I'd like to get Rudolph, Frosty, "Scrooged" and a few others. _________________ [ |

I agree with Rudolph & Frosty but I also love the Santa Clause (both of them), MIckey's Christmas Carol, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the animated one) _________________ Nancie șoș

There are so many good Christmas movies. We used to have some on VHS recorded right from the TV. My youngest would watch them over and over, year round.
We always liked "Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol" and "Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas". I try to pick up movies when I see them on sale. It would cost a fortune to get then all at once especially at those overpriced chain stores like FYE. _________________ [ |

The only thing I enjoy more than watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is listening to it on CD.
Yes, I have a CD version, with the complete teleplay, and each song individually. I listen to it so much, I'm suprised it's still intact.
My Thurl impression is getting pretty good these days. _________________ |

My favorite holiday movie would have to be without a doubt A Christmas Story. I love the father. He's hillarious with the "leg lamp". Or the "Be sure to drink your ovaltine". You know the first time I saw the movie it reminded me of the Carousel of Progress. Not that family made much progress in trying to get the best Christmas but how they had all the wires for the radios, lamps, the ovens seemed as if they walk right out of the show. By the way, did you know the narrator of A Christmas Story is the new voice of the father of the Carousel of Progress at Disney World.
Anyway,
Happy Holidays!!!!! _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth |

My favorite from the old TV specials is The Year Without a Santa Claus. I just love the Miser brothers I also love Rudolph and Santa Claus is coming to town.
The Santa Clause and White Christmas are my two favorite Chrismtas movies, closely followed by A Muppet Christmas Carol. _________________ Kathy
