Is that another "trick" like ordering a double burger and an extra bun? _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

Good:
Pecos Bill's - Chicken wrap, mmmmm!
Yak and Yeti - Honey chicken is good
Bad:
Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Hut (yuck!)
Everything else is OK, not spectacular. |

Award Weiners used to be one of my favorites...until they changed the menu to have chips instead of fries (that's crisps instead of chips for those of you across the pond) Their fries were EXCELLENT--now a bag of Lays--not so good.
At DCA now...the Fairfax Market is yummy and Cocina Cucamonga is fast and not too much out of pocket (I ten to go for the kids meal)
I also LOVED the corn dog nuggets at Hungry Bear Restaurant...they too have disappeared. I think it is absolutely shameful that Disney has taken away the fried goodness from my favorite establishments
I do like Redd Rockets when the pizza is fresh--
I LOVE Bengal Barbecue--easy on the pocket and always YUMMY!!!
Stage Door is fast and usually no wait-nice to take in for a Bill Hill show!
I do avoid Village Haus--two bad experiences and I said no more.
Man...I'm looking forward to some Disney food!

Hi,
One note on Pinocchio's Village Haus at WDW. I'm not sure when they changed the routine, but it's more organized and less of a free-for-all. I was just there last week .
There's no more reserving tables while the rest of your party is up ordering food. They have tons of staff manning this place now.
As soon as you get your food, a cast member asks how many in your party, etc and sends you off in the general direction of other cast members who are assigned to specific areas of the dining room. These cast members are responsible for finding you a table as well as maintaining the tidiness of their sections (eg sweeping the floor, wiping down tables & chairs)
All in all, I think it worked pretty well. I would say that they need to give the cast members a better way to communicate with each other - maybe headsets like the Gap.
and when did the chicken strips become chicken nuggets? I miss the chicken strips! |

One issue is that I actually have the kids go reserve the table, cause it is more of a pain to have them in line with me... |

When we were at WDW in January, Sonny was not there. I don't know if/when he is coming back. Maybe he got laid off too. _________________ [ |

Sonny even had to go back to his own plant to collect unemployment. |

Bruce. Thanks for the update. Sonny is one of our favorites and we missed him in January. Heading back for a long weekend April 30 - May 4 and will be glad to see Sonny back on stage at Ray's. (Donna will have the chicken Caesar and I'll have the BBQ sandwich.) _________________ [ |
