I was reading in another article that this would impact their breakfast cereal and all other food stuffs also.... once the current marketing contracts run out, the new policy will take effect....

It's going to cost them a bunch, but good for Disney to take a stand...

But I've been told for YEARS that the food in Disney parks is fat free; sugar free, no calories, nothing bad!

Have I been lied to???? Shocked Crying or Very sad Wink

I wish they could add a few low or no carb items on their menus.... but then again, I think the low-carb diet is starting to fade a little, it's becoming harder and harder to find stuff.... great, find something that works, but it's after everyone else has jumped off the bandwagon....

typcial...

A friend in Tampa and I were talking about this yesterday and he cited one thing about all this.

While it is a good idea and well meaning one. I just hope they don't overdo its importance by
excluding any food item and replace it with
something else. There has to be room for everything and not just the salads.

It is still the job of the parents to tell their children what they can and cannot eat.

A middle ground balanced menu is the appropriate way to go and I must
stress that patrons of the park must be allowed to make their own choices when it comes to this.

I second that. As a recovering diabetic I'm doing my best to stay healthy.

I think it is a great idea to add healthy items to the menu.

I noticed when down in November the change to the menu, particularly for the kids. I found myself eating all my kids grapes and apple slices. they need to spread this to the parents servings too...

Last night at Mickey's Xmas party they gave us the choice of cookies or apple slices. That was a first for us.

Chocolate Chip Apple Slices?

Did they offer Hot Apple Cider instead of Hot Chocolate?
