The trailer for Shrek the Third was released today (or late last night)....

Saw a poster for this the last time we went to the movies. It said the movie will be out on 5/18.

Just got back from seeing the movie and it was pretty good. It wasn't as good as the other 2 but definitely worth adding to my DVD collection when it comes out.

We saw this over the weekend, and although we're Shrek fans, this movie was only OK. When it comes out on DVD we'll buy it, but had we not seen it until the DVD release wouldn't have been so bad either.

The story was rushed, and many of the humor scenes were predictable.

Too bad too...except for direct to DVD releases, I would guess this franchise is over.

Well poking fun at anything Disney's done is starting to get old......People are starting (hopefully) to realize that they don't need potty humor and "attitude" to be entertained by a film.

I took the family... it was an ok movie. The detail of the Animation is much better than the original 2, the clothes even have threads and patterns... so a well done job for the programmers.

That said, the storyline just wasn't that good. Looks like they had to find a story to fit the film than find a film to fit the story.

I would not have been upset seeing it first on video. Then throw in expense of a theater for a family of 5? Too much for too little.
