The Orlando Sentinel has an article all about the new overnight accomodations in Cinderella Castle. (you need to be signed up, but it's free!)

Let me tell you, WOW! I'd LOVE to stay there! Talk about top-notch!

I think the cool thing is that the winners are not chosen by a person or the prize patrol.....

They have a computer program that picks a specific ride/seat, park, and time.... whoever is sitting in that seat at theat time is the winner....

That is really cool... especially those of us who think they may not win because they don't have a "traditional family", hint, hint (20/30 year old couple without kids, hint).....

Found out a little more on the computer program... it will even pick locations outside of rides..... like the person who is sitting on the bench closest to Cinderella's Castle on the Hub/Liberty Square bridge at 11:30am

Totally cool..... this leaves it open to anyone and everyone....

WOW!!!! That is pretty awesome. I have yet to see any of the Dreams cast members when I've been at DL.

I think it's great that they have already picked how the winners will be located....it seems much mor objective this way!

Exciting times at the disney resorts!

An interesting article in today's Atlanta Journal & Constitution about staying in the cinderella suite and all that is included:

haha that's cool.

i've wondered what it would be like to win. not just the big moments...but like, the times it's dark and quiet and the park is closed and it's just you sitting in cinderella's castle going, 'wtf?!'

Fun!

It would be great to win...and add that to a trip...but it seems it would kinda disrupt any plans you my have had (LOL--not a disruption I'd complain about too much).

I wonder if photosm the key card and memories are the only keepsakes from the trip?? I saw a huge gift basket that was presented to a guy in the DL passholder newsletter for winning a night in the Mickey Suite.

Man, I wish i'd have one of those white vested folks tap me on the shoulder......

i was thinking the same thing not too long ago, Moosey...what if you had plans for the afternoon/evening? what if that night was the one night you'd booked at your dream resort? i mean, obviously i'd choose the Cindy Suite, but...dang...

I was thinking the same thing Aprildecember. It's 3am and no one is in the park, plus there's a home depot style crane driving around main street changing the light bulbs. That's a big WTF. I stayed at the Contemprary one year, on the 7 Seas Lagoon side, and I remember seeing steam coming out of the Magic Kingdom every night. Weird, especially to being the middle of it. Another WTF. So are you like a prisoner all night? I'm sure you cant just wander down to the Main Street Bake Shop to get a snack. Do they have someone at the elevator to make sure no one get's out?
