MNSSHP & Costumes!

For those who plan on attending one of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party events this year...

Are you going in costume? If so, as who/what?

Some of you know that I can be a very costumey person. Historical, in particular. But I often forgo dressing up because it can be a big bother, especially when you're on vaycay and just want to run around a theme park like a little kid. I'm considering a few options, but I have no idea what I'll end up choosing. In fact, I may come dressed as plain ol' me.

Anyway. I'm sort of torn between the following options...

1. Tinkerbell. I would base this costume on the "Tink's Dress" Christmas ornament. Might use my green Victorian corset as a bodice, which would make construction a lot easier and quicker.

2. Miss Cartilage, from the Jerry Lewis movie "Ladies Man." It's simple - black turtleneck and long black skirt with white face makeup and dark lipstick/eyeliner. And a rope.

3. Rose deWitt-Bukater. I have a copy of her luncheon gown with the red sash that fits and is ready to go.

Well, we "the wife and I" weren't planning on dressing up for the party we are all going to do, unless everyone else does....

If we dress up, it will probably be wearing our custom pirate shirts and that might be it....

We spend most of our time looking at all of the other costumes..... heh...

mwhaha. pirate shirts sounds cool. since char has the bewdy maleficent outfit, that would be awesome too.

wait...i have an IDEA! you guys should go as will and eliz! you have the orlando bloom hair and char would make a hot pirate chick.

will you ask charlotte which of my ideas she likes best? Very Happy

Donna and I are still debating whether or not we'll be attending one of the parties. But if we do, we will definitely be in costume. Something Haunted Mansion-ish.

I personally would want to wear my "tourist" outfit, but "someone" overrode that idea...

I don't think the Maleficent costume will be coming out, especially not in Oct.... it is still too hot for that thing, it is very heavy and a lot of velvet type material.... she'd pass out from heat exhaustion...

Will and Elizabeth would be nice, but it would require some financial investment, to complete the overall look.... which would be a problem right now, but we will see....
