Kim and I, along with Kim's Mom (yes, I actually get along with my Mother-in-Law), have just purchased a new home. It used to be a Speakeasy during prohibition! The Silo that you'll see has 4 floors of rooms in it, and was where they had Poker, roulette, and a bar. The living room was a dance hall. The people we bought in from put on massive additions to the place, while keeping the original interior structure, pretty much intact.

Just thought we'd share the photos with you. The plan (years down the road) is to turn this into a Bed and Breakfast. It's located near 6 Flags Great America. In fact...this farm originally owned all the proprty that 6 Flags sits on today.

Congrats on the new home! It looks absolutely great from the pics! We wish you the best and hope your plans for a bed and breakfast work out for you! My wife and I just traveled through Gurnee last week going to gurnee mills. That area is crazy busy and perfect for a bed and breakfast!!!! Best of luck again!
