I started this forum because for a Disney fan website you got to have discussion about your favorite Disney flick. So come and share your favorite Disney movies. Talk about your favorite moments and favorite quotes.
To begin my favorite Disney movie of all time would have to be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. My favorite moment in the movie was when the dwarfs raced home to stop the queen from killing Snow White. Once she takes a bite you know its too late to save her, the drums are rolling, Snow White is dieing and the queen says the symintoms of the sleeping death then she falls to the floor. (Probably the most dramatic moment in Disney film history) My favorite quote is with a doubt: [quotefrom Snow White: "Next thing you'll know she'll be tying up pink ribbions and spairn' that stuff called uhh... purfome!" from Grumpy] I laughed when I first heard that line.[/quote]

I don't know if I have a favorite. I grew up with so many of the classics such as "The Absent Minded Professor" and those old black and whites. I saw "Sleeping Beauty" during its first run in the theaters.

I guess my answer to this question is a non-answer.

I think I'm going to have to agree with Frank here. I really don't have a "favorite" per se, because I like so many of them.

Whenever I'm having a bad day, I'll pop in a Disney movie. If at the time I don't have a specific one in mind, any Disney movie will do for me. Always lifts my spirits. Smile

i think i basically said that lady and the tramp was my favorite. but i have many favorites, particularly the animated oldskool movies. Smile

as for shorts, my favorite has got to be 'two chips and a miss.' clarice has been my personal style icon since i was a wee lass.

Ok, that's why my message is gone...glad *I'M* on top of things

Animated would have to be Jungle Book and live action would be the ORIGINAL Parent Trap.

Both of these are from my childhood and I have fond memories of both.

(I had such a crush on Hayley Mills when I was a kid)

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (STEAMPUNK! w00t!);
Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl (Just a darn ripping good yarn)

Live Action runner-ups:
Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier (weirdo American propaganda wrapped up in a really entertaining movie)

Animated favorites:
Fantasia (almost unparallelled artistry and creativity);
Treasure Planet (18th century space galleons... SWEET!)

Animated runner-ups:
Sleeping Beauty; Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; Peter Pan (I like dreamy sorta' fairy tales)

I love Lady and the Tramp. I remember crying when I was young when Tramp was hit by the Dog Cather Wagon.
