I would say 90% of those were "a little off". They seem like they were written by someone who's never spent a lot of time in the parks, or is somewhat anti-Disney. Mostly hog-wash if you ask me.

I disagree with any advice that doesn't have you staying at a non-Disney resort. The perks are too good to pass up (Extra Magic Hours, bus transportation, Magic Express, etc). Besides, there's something about being engulfed in the magic at all times - the TV stations inside the resort with the 24 hour music + Stacy, the food courts, the pools, etc.

I'm not so sure about the room without a view - I've heard very happy stories of that family that got a once-in-a-lifetime experience by staying somewhere like the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Personally, I go cheap because I'm in the park all day - So I definitely disagree with the "Don't stay at the All-Star" resorts. If I'm only using the room to sleep at night - why pay more?

Renting a car - only if you want to see Universal or get groceries. When I'm there, time is of the essence, so driving off property to get cheap groceries/donuts, etc. is a waste of time - I'd rather pay more at the food court shop and save the precious hour.

Some of the tips make sense (don't eat at peak hours, etc.) but there were a lot of Universal references for a Disney list!

seems like the standard advice.

I disagree with the advise about the value resorts. If it is just a place to sleep and swim, they are fine. Besides, not all of us make "web Article" salaries and can afford to stay at a luxury resort.
