Wifey, Sweetums and I were planning a trip to Florida next fall. I am going to try to have it coincide with Jamboree. _________________ Jason

Just keep this in mind:
10/2 UF @ Alabama
10/9 UF vs LSU
10/16 UF vs MSU (homecoming)
10/23 bye week
10/30 UF vs Georgia
Anyone up for a UAB tailgate in Gainesville? |

Keep in mind the Giants play Sundays... Oh, and we'll have to have a TBA for next year's World Series, especially if it's Subway |

So long as Omar Minaya is GM and Jerry Manuel is manager, you can bet on the Mets not meeting your Yankees in the Fall Classic. Having said that...please beat up on the Phillies.
Back on topic...I think a UAB luau would be a blast! I've never been to the show at the Poly. But it seems to me that a big group of us weirdos would make it that much more fun. |

Isn't Bobby Valentine back on the market?
And, as fun (and delicious) as the luau is, UABer's will be put off by the presence of STITCH! |

In another feat of stupidity, the owners did not fire Omar and thusly Manuel still has his job. Valentine will not be managing the ets unless they have a horrible start next season. So I'm a bit torn as to how to cheer for them next season.
I hate Stitch as much as anyone, but the luau still sounds like it could be fun. Is the Stitch element that bad? If not the luau, the Hoop-Dee-Do would also be a blast with UABers. |

The Stitch element is miniscule. Especially when beer is included. Granted it's Bud Light, but one can cope! |

I have no idea what a UAB Jamboree is. Nor if it has food and singing like the others appear to all have. |
I have it on good authority (well OK, I am just guessing here) that WDWFan knows exactly what happens at Girl Scout camp...His daughters tell him for 3 solid hours after he picks them back up. AND THEN, they sing those blasted songs for 9 Months!
I made the mistake twice of taking two girl scouts to Disney...where do they come up with those songs and why doesn't that "song that never ends" end already??? |

Ooooh I SO want to go! Are children invited to this Jamboree? As it stands right now I am waiting to be induced this weekend! (fun stuff!) which means that I will have an almost 1 year old in tow...so I voted maybe _________________ Is it time to go to WDW yet? |
