I think this is great news! I hope that it will still be around when I visit in October!

Just as scores of you had hoped – we’re leaving the lights on and extending Disney’s “Main Street Electrical Parade” at Walt Disney World. By popular demand, the parade at Magic Kingdom Park will continue an open-ended run when “Summer Nightastic!” ends on August 14.

It’s probably no surprise to hear that the parade has been one of our highest rated entertainment experiences at Magic Kingdom Park since returning in early June. It’s been an “overwhelming success,” according to Park Vice President Phil Holmes. And now, you’ll be able to continue cheering and humming “Baroque Hoedown.”

Kati,

What are the dates for your October trip? We'll be there 21 - 28.

Sure. We will be at Pop. I'll send you some contact info later via PM. And if the others here should try to convince you not to meet, don't listen. I'm not that bad..anymore.

Maybe we can get Bruce and Charlotte to meet us as well. The mere mention of Guinness is enough to get Daguru to make the trip.

Whoa... whoa... whoa... Did someone mention Guinness?!?!!?

We could meet up on Friday night (10/22) or some time Saturday (10/23)... We have family coming in on Sunday and will be around all week. We would love to hook up with y'all... Just stick close to us or dlears, we know how to handle Frank (usually involves a frost glass and Guinness)... Smile

Oh wait... I forgot, we will be doing one day at Epcot that week (probably Mon)... I'll be the single guy with 6 women... All family members though... Smile

Friday we get in early. My son and his family will be in Friday, not sure what time. My oldest is also due in sometime that weekend. We are doing the Halloween Party Sunday. So either Friday or Saturday or Monday will work. I still have your number Bruce. My mouth is watering for a Guinness now. And I know Kati is an Off Kilter fan.

Bruce and Charlotte have seen me dance pint in hand. I'll be glad to show off my moves again.

Ugh... not again!?! Actually, the first time we ever meet Frank (a few years ago), he was dancing at the Off Kilter stage... He asked Charlotte to open his CDs, because he was dancing and didn't want to spill his Guinness! Laughing ah... good times!

I remember that! But then again, I've known Figment a LONG FREAKING TIME, and know what an embarrassment he can be. DLEars is a SAINT!

But he is harmless...mostly...just don't get between him and his Guinness! He's like a mother bear protecting her cubs!

Holy shmoly! I leave for an afternoon and miss all of the fun! :-p
First, I, too, am staying at the Pop! We fly in on Friday, late in the day so Saturday, Sunday or Monday would be great! Right now it looks like we will be at Epcot on Monday but I can make a special trip too! We are doing the halloween party on Tuesday.
I will send you contact info in a PM as well.

Secondly, I won't be deterred by any defamation of character, don't you worry about that! I have been known to enjoy a pint or two (usually from the Canada Pavillion, but Guinness is also quite tasty! ) and I certainly drag my husband to watch Off Kilter at least twice a trip! You can usually find him reading his hidden mickey book while I am dancing with any poor sap that I can find!
