I have gone alone, and it's not much fun, not in WDW anyway. It's hard to have fun and share the fun if there's no one to share it with.

Love ya too Figment! Smile

100 days till DL!!!

Too Old? Are you nuts? I think some things you don't even begin to enjoy until you get "older". I'm 41 and my husband is 50. We LOVE the parks - all of 'em. And we're still TOO YOUNG to just sit on a bench on Main Street and enjoy an ice cream - one of us is always tugging the other in some direction. Someday when we "slow down" we'll stop and "smell the flowers".

And I've been to Paris Disneyland by myself. I traveled to Paris alone and wasn't going to miss DL! So I took the train and spent the entire day there. The cast members really play with you (in a good way) when you're alone. Plus I met so many interesting guests - you tend to meet more people when you're by yourself. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Sigh . . . . memories. . . . . .

I agree with Beth I've been to WDW many a time alone It's so much fun. As for age shoot my wife will be 52 this year and I'm 39 that we're retired is great but she's never been to Disney at all. So before the Jamboree I plan on taking her to WDW to get her young at heart working.

I've been by myself and I have a friend who goes all the time on her own. I used to work for a company that was based in California, so I had to fly out there for a week every month. It was 15 minutes from my hotel to Disneyland, so I bought an annual pass and would go in after work. It was WONDERFUL! My job was really stressful, and it was so nice to relax for a few hours with some Pirates, Mansion, and a Dole Whip for dinner. (And yes, I put the Dole Whips on my expense reports!)
