We all know the Toontown at DL is EXTREMELY CREATIVE!!! However, when I went in the end of September and beginning of October I noticed its quality was sort of dying down. I'm not saying they should redo it. I'm only saying just REFURBISH IT!!! _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth |

I saw Toontown for the first time just after it opened and I thought it was FANTASTIC! Now the years have not been too kind to Toontown and I agree it needs a bit of paint and TLC.
I also miss being able to ride on the Jolly Trolly. Anyone know why it doesn't run anymore? _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Maybe a radical change.... retheme it to a county fair type of thing and rename it, Mickey's Toon Town Fair.... yeah, I think that could work!! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

I agree - Toontown needs something, I'm just not sure what. I like Roger Rabbit. I like the mailboxes and sound effect stuff in that area. But beyond that, if you don't have children it's really lacking. And we've thought we'd go there for lunch or a snack, but the restaurants are rarely open.
I love the atsmophere of Toontown, but there's not much there. |

Iagree! When I went two years ago, Mickey's Toontown Fair was, no offense, NOTHING!!! I was very disappointed. I mean Magic Kingdom itself needs a MAJOR UPDATE!!!! _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth |

Just close it for a few months, repaint it, restore the special effects along the downtown area and... (itz done!!) _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth |

I was just over there checking out the decorations..which I think are alwys so much fun! That area is always packed...and they even had the Jolly Trolly out! I agree that every area should be kept in tip top shape. I would imagine it's on some sort of to-do list--hopefully it's near the top and will be touched up soon!
