Yep...Toontown could definitely use a makeover...just touchup paint could be enough...... |

Toontown is always empty every time we go. If they had more food stations open more often and a fresh coat of paint, maybe that would work. The slushies are cool. Sad to see that they no longer take a "official" picture in Mickey's house. |

Maybe with photopass they'll have more "official" opportunities. I liked having my little card--it was much easier to know I didn'thave to remember to go check out my photo during off hours and decide in a moment if I liked them or not.
Having so many character opportunities in Toontown seems like good business to have photopass opps there too!

Good point about the photopass.
They are several photo ops in Toontown. I love that they're introducing photopass at Disneyland. We bought pictures from our photopass at WDW. Loved that we could go online after our trip to see the pictures. |

I agree that the photopass could be a good opportunity, although I am a little sad that it kinda takes away the spontinaity of running into your favorite character unexpectedly. Toontown has lots of cool stuff, but it definately needs a revamp...more rides, and things to do, and for sure a new coat of paint. Some stuff for adults might be nice too. |

It's me again. I've always thought that ToonTown could use a little more creativity behind it as there really is alot of potential to work with. The one thing that sticks out in my mind as a welcome improvement/addition would be some kind AA show involving Mickey and the other ToonTown residents just to bring the idea of the area being a "working" town; sort of cross between the Ink and Paint club from WFRR and Mickey's House of Mouse, (yes I know I'm a DisneyGeek!). Anyway, I also think that there should be a new kind of ride/show to emphasize the somewhat lesser-known characters in the Disney pantheon; everyone can think of at least one movie, tv show, or short film that features characters that no-one else knows. Well, I just hope that they decide on a definitive change of pace if they're really serious about their refurbs. Until later, peace. |
