When I was a kid, my father and I used to go see the jai alai matches around the Kissimee / Orlando area.
I know in recent years, this sport is becoming increasing harder to find... I was curious if there was anywhere that still held jai alai matches/tournaments . IT's been a good 12+ years since my father and I have been to Florida together, and combined with my fiancee, I think it'd be a good time all around. _________________

We have Jai Alai in nearby Newport, RI. But oddly enough, I've never been. I always thought that FLA Jai Alai was more southern.

Ocala FL, just south of Gainesville about an hour and some from orlando using the turnpike has a place that has a Jai Alai court. The Season starts sometime in Jan or Feb and runs till about May. _________________ Jason

The one in Ocala is way off the road, but it is also a satelite gambling place for the ponnies and dogs. _________________ Jason

Florida allows dogs and horses to gamble? What a weird place! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.
