Well, to be honest it is dated, no one wants to admit it, but it is, I think it's time to look at making more attractions that can be updated as time goes on, really for example modify the great movie ride so that it can go down one of two paths, that way one could be updated while the other is being used and you could update for newer movies as they come out. This is what is needed are attractions that can be modified without being shut down, I think this is the way things will ultimately go. |
Actually, strong rumors and discussions regarding SW 2.0.... been "confirmed" by Anthony Daniels, who has already recorded new footage...
Can't wait for this one..... I just wish they set it up so you could choose where you want to go, with different movies.... |

Seriously, Hollywood? Seriously? That's what you're going with Disney, seriously? Located in Central Florida, Hollywood Studios, seriously? Come on......seriously.
I will call it MGM till my deathbed. |

OK...I actually like this name change. I'm glad "Pixar" isn't mentioned.....and I think that all of the guests from countries around the world, will find the "Hollywood" reference more identifiable. Also...considering that there are a number of rides from 20th Century fox, as well as other studios...I think this is a more appropriate, all encompassing name. The entire park is all about Hollywood...not MGM. I like it. _________________

I agree with Ellory. And it won't really change the themeing, but will give Disney more flexibility with things. I hope they keep the Earful Tower. When I walk in the park, I don't think MGM...I think Hollywood. And I like the movie ride.
And I am very glad Pixar is not mentioned. I like the Pixar films and the Disney/Pixar relationship, but it is getting to be a bit much.
Now, about that hat. _________________ [ |

GMR will not change at this time (according to the article I read). Disney still has the needed licensing needed for those images. But be prepared for them to be removed at some point, because I doubt MGM will allow the use forever.
With all the movie studios associated with Disney now, I think they could still get great scenes for the ride. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Yea, everyone knows Hollywood is in southern Florida, just north of Miami, not central Florida. _________________ --Rita |

MGM and CBS own the rights to the Twilight Zone..This should be interesting...thought given the fact that these days Ibelieve CBS is the current owner....in which case negotiations for licensing would be completely separate _________________

I'm all in favor of calling it Hollywood per se. It removes some limitations, keeps the theme valid, and broadens the scope as opposed to narrowing it to "Disney/Pixar".
Now more family friendly rides...
If they are looking to broaden the ride base, Move body wars over and call it "Fantastic Voyage" |
