Well.. there may be another penny buried under the pirate movies somewhere that they just have to get at.
wonder what happened to the "leave while you are at the top...".
counter to that argument, there just are not a lot of good action/adventure flicks therse days.... |

I don't think a PotC 4 would be a bad thing. The main character is Jack, and if they keep the story line at the same high level, they could do these for YEARS!
I thought the Will/Elizabeth storyline was a bit of a drag anyway.

So, you're thinking that they should've stopped at the second one, then? LOL.
I think studios are seeing that the public loves a great set of characters/environments - they're going back and doing another Indy, they already came back for Star Wars, they should do another Pirates now rather than 20 years down the road when Johnny Depp is too old.
I personally love the idea. Jack/Elizabeth didn't really do much at all - they were the straight players for Jack, easily replaceable. |

I agree pretty much with everyone else.... get rid of Will/Elizabeth.... I think they just brought everything down...
With just Capt Jack (and Barbosa), they can keep the action at a high level for the whole movie... Just pure action and adventure... Awesome... |
