To all of you who have tried these absolutley to die for legs, I'm sure you all know it's definatly something that is worth talking about. They are usually found in carts on Main Street and in Frontierland. They are smoked and juicy (and probably not extremely healthy ) and they are to die for. I love them and everytime I go to DL I always have one.[/b][/i] _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth |

It's funny you should say that. Someone here at work just came back from her first visit to WDW and had a turkey leg. She said the line was so long and they smelled so good, that she figured they had to be really yummy. Needless to say, her opinion was quite different after having one. She said that with the smoked turkey, it was a strange color and tasted kinda like ham. I've never actually had one - but I thought her reaction was kind of funny. I've only heard good things about them before - they just didn't appeal to me. _________________ Kathy

Well your is right! The Turkey does kinda taste like ham. The flavor of the turkey is what I really like. They are very good and I think your friend just had a bad one or it just didn't appeal to her. But then, it's considered a Disney theme park snack so it's not ment to be something out of the oven. But it's still really good and I love it. This is just my opinion. _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth |

The smoked turkey legs taste that way because of the curing and smoking process. It's really similar to ham.
Corn dogs are also one of my favorite DL treats! _________________ |

I am a BIG turkey leg fan. I have accouple of them while I am at Walt Disney World. Not on the same day. But I usauly eat my wife's left over. She never can eat the whole thing. They are some juicy. (Messy is more like it) I watched the cooks make them on the Discovery Chanel, maybe the Food Network, or Travel Chanel. Any way, it is one of the Parks biggest seller. AND THEY ARE GREAT!!!!!!! |

I love Turkey, but I don't like Ham. It was quite a shock when I bit into that HAM leg. |
